Terms of Service
These terms govern access to Markovo’s document conversion service, website, API, CLI, and related tools.
Using Markovo
You must be legally able to accept these terms and may use Markovo only for files you own or are authorized to process. You are responsible for your account, credentials, API keys, submitted content, and the results you choose to publish or rely on.
Production preview
PDF conversion is available now as a production preview. Output quality varies with scans, handwriting, formulas, complex tables, and unusual layouts. Review the generated Markdown and quality report before using it in consequential workflows.
Credits and payment testing
Credits estimate and meter conversion work. During this preview, checkout runs in Creem Test Mode and does not represent an enabled live charge. Paid production billing will not be activated without a separate launch notice. Promotional or test Credits have no cash value.
Acceptable use
Do not use Markovo to violate law, intellectual-property rights, privacy, export controls, or another person’s security. Do not upload malware, probe the service, bypass limits, automate abusive traffic, resell access without permission, or use the service to create unlawful or harmful content.
Availability and changes
We may change limits, Beta capabilities, supported formats, retention, or the service to protect users and maintain reliability. We may suspend access for abuse, security risk, unpaid live charges after a future billing launch, or material breach of these terms.
Your content and our software
You retain rights in your source files and converted output. You grant Markovo the limited permission needed to process, store temporarily, and deliver that content. Markovo’s software, branding, interface, and documentation remain protected by applicable intellectual-property law and open-source licenses where stated.
Disclaimers and responsibility
The preview is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, Markovo does not guarantee uninterrupted service or perfectly accurate conversion. Neither party excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. For other claims, Markovo’s aggregate liability will not exceed the amount actually paid for the service in the preceding three months.
